    Disabled American Veterans

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) now maintains a presence in the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs.  The University of Alabama is the first institution of higher education to do so.  The DAV is a cadre of “veterans helping veterans.”  The role of these volunteers is to assure that claimants for VA disability benefits have qualified representation in the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of their disability claim.  Our motto is “FULFILLING OUR PROMISES TO THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED.”

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Thursday.  We are located in room 3013, Houser Hall.
