The University of Alabama Office of Veteran and Military Affairs serves the veteran, service member, military dependent and survivor student communities.  The New Student page allows for quick access to important information and dates that are focused on new and prospective military affiliated students.

Bama Bound Orientation

Please take a look at our Bama Bound 2023 Orientation Presentation as it is a great source of information for all new and prospective military affiliated students looking at attending The University of Alabama. We recommend that you take a look at the presentation before you start sending your paperwork in as it will answer many of your questions about our many programs and is also a great way to refresh your memory during your time here at the university.

New Forms Submission Procedure

1. Download the proper forms
2. Save on your computer or cloud
3. Fill out using Acrobat Pro (part of Adobe Creative Cloud on UA OIT website)
4. Create electronic signature when prompted and e-sign document
5. Send to your advisor and have them e-sign the form and return to the student
6. Log into your myBama and go to the Campus Life page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the Veteran and Military Affairs Box and select the VMA Student Document Upload link and upload your document.
