    Undergraduate Admissions

    If you have never had any college credit (outside of military training) then you will be an entering in as a freshman.   The basic admissions requirements for freshman can be found here. The basic admissions requirements for transfer students can be found here. Keep in mind an ACT or SAT score is not required if you have graduated from high school or got your GED over five years ago.     If you are interested in the doing just online classes then you would be a distance learning student. To learn more about the online degree programs offered you can visit Bama By Distance. Once you have reviewed these requirements then you can apply online.

    The University of Alabama also offers the New Life College Track which is a program for students over the age of 25 who are interested in getting an interdisciplinary degree with a self-paced option.
